Kathleen Toschi
Financial PlannerYour Financial Future, Reimagined
Kathy Toschi is a Financial Planner and Wealth Advisor whose career is defined by a single conviction: that every client deserves to feel informed, empowered, and confident about their financial future. Her warmth, tenacity, and genuine care for the people she serves build lasting relationships — and clients know she will always meet them exactly where they are.
A Diverse Background, A Unique Perspective
With more than a decade of experience in financial services and a background as diverse as the clients she serves, Kathy brings a uniquely human perspective to wealth management. She specializes in retirement planning, tax-efficient investing, estate and legacy strategies, and financial planning through major life transitions — including divorce, caregiving, and loss. Her passion is advocating for women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are ready to take ownership of their financial story and rewrite what they believed was possible.
A Path Shaped by Real-World Experience
Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing from San Francisco State University, the first in her family to earn a college degree. Born and raised in the Bay Area, her early career took her through technology, private education, and small business ownership — experiences that gave her a grounded, multidimensional view of how money intersects with real life. As a cancer survivor, she brings a depth of resilience and empathy to every client relationship that simply cannot be taught. Her career in financial services has taken her from Motif Investing, to Merrill Lynch/Bank of America and Edward Jones, before joining the Prinze Wealth Group. She operates within the Raymond James independent advisor framework, free from sales quotas and proprietary product requirements, so her recommendations are always driven by what is genuinely best for her clients.
A Heart for Advocacy
Kathy is a committed advocate for women navigating retirement planning, tax-efficient investing, and legacy strategies through life's major transitions. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she offers inclusive, affirming wealth strategies to clients who deserve an advisor who truly understands their lives. She is also a passionate supporter of animal rescue and welfare.
Community Engagement
Community engagement is not a footnote for Kathy — it is central to who she is. She serves as Downtown Group Leader and Board Member of the Sacramento Professional Advisors Network, is a member of Impact100 Greater Sacramento, and is a 2023 Leadership California alumna with a focus on women's leadership. She is a member of both the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce, supports the Nature Conservancy and promotes breast cancer awareness through the Susan G. Komen organization. She is also a passionate voice in the adoption community through her participation in Vivien's Wild Ride, a documentary by her birth mother that chronicles their remarkable reunion story.
Your Journey, My Commitment
Outside the office, Kathy is deeply rooted in the Sacramento community she serves. She is actively involved in the lives of her two adult children, enjoys time with her partner, and is never far from her two rescue dogs who she'll gladly tell you rescued her right back. She finds joy in art, theater, hiking, biking and animal rescue, and loves the life she has built.
